Found in Alta Verapaz department of Guatemala at elevations around 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing, caespitose epiphyte with erect ramicauls carrrying a single, apical, erect, orbicular-elliptic, tridentate, gradually narrowing into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, .48" [1.2 cm] long, shorter to a bit longer than the leaf, successively single, 3 to 6 flowered inflorescence.
