Common Name Schlechter's Microchilus [German Botanist 1900's]

Found in Sao Paulo and Parana states of Brazil at elevations around 100 to 200 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a decumbent stem becoming erect above carrying several, erect-patent, oval-elliptic, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, erect, pubescent, provided with 3 to 5 sheathing bracts, 4 to 10" [10 to 25 cm] long, 5 to 17 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, margins ciliate, shorter to longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying sessile, erect-patent, whitish flowers.
