Found in Zhejiang province of China on the slopes of evergreen broad-leaved forests at elevations around 1100 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing lithophyte with dark green, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, developing at flowering, elliptic-lanceolate, attenuate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, to 2.4” [6 cm] long, provided with 2 basal sheaths, single flowered inflorescence with narrowly elliptic, acute, longer than the ovary floral bracts.
