Common Name The Acute Flowered Pleurothallis

Flower Size .08" [2 mm]

Found in Huanuco department of Peru on trees and rocks as a miniature sized, caespitose epiphyte or lithophte with a lax inflorescence, bilabiate flowes not completely spreading and the acute-subacuminate synsepal.

Similar to and may be the first available name for P picta which can be recognized within the complex by the narrowly acute to acuminate synsepal, and if so then this name would take precedence.

Synonyms *Humboltia acutiflora Ruiz & Pavon 1798; Specklinia acutiflora (Ruiz & Pav.) Pupulin 2012; Stelis acutiflora (Ruiz & Pav.) Willd. 1805
