Found in Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Gulf of Guinea Islands, Cameroon, Gabon and Zaire in lowland rainforests as a mini-miniature to small sized, hot growing epiphyte with short rhizome giving rise to a cylindrical, erect, non basally swollen pseudobulbs carrying 1 to 2 at mid pseudobulb and 3 or so at the apex, oblanceolate, acute, somewhat coriaceous, smooth margined, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the later summer on a terminal, erect then arching, 2 to 3.6" [5 to 9 cm] long, overall, peduncle provided with 2 to 3 imbricate bracts, rachis 5 to 8 branched, successively few, several flowered inflorescence
