Common Name The Snake Tongued Prosthechea

Flower Size

Found in the state of Rio de Janiero ? Brazil without locality as a medium sized epiphyte with longish, ovate pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical leaves that blooms on a fractiflex, few flowered inflorescence.

CAUTION!!! This orchid was described from only 2 flowers, one with only the lip and column preserved in alcohol and the other with sepals, petasl and lip dissected and mounted on a card.
