Common Name Hilary's Pteroglossa
Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]
Found in Minas Gerais, Rio de Janiero and Sao Paulo states of Brazil as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect, thin, glandular-pilose stem carrying bract-like, inflated, acuminate leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, peduncle [13 to 14 cm] long, provided with well spaced, ampleicaul sheatrhing bracts, rachis 2.4 to 6" [6 to 15 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with ovate, acuminate, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying sessile flowers.
