Flower Size .5" [1.25 cm] long

Found in Costa Rica in high paramo at elevations above 3000 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with an erect, glabrous, to 15" [35 cm] long, 12 flowered inflorescence carrying non-resuppinate flowers.

CAUTION Kew lists this one as a synonym of P galeata and I tend to agree but have left it separate so I can refer to it. This genus is very scarce and has not been well studied, so I leave it here as a reference for future study.
