Found in New South Wales in moist to wet shrubby forests on track margins and on embankments at elevations of 300 to 400 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a short stalk carrying a rosette of 3 to 4 leaves that blooms in the winter and early fall on an erect, 6 to 18" [15 to 45 cm] long, provided with 5 to 7 stem leaves, 1 to 8 flowered inflorescence.
