Found in Queensland Australia in moist to wet forests including rainforest margins on on rocky escarpments at elevation of 100 to 900 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with a rosette stalk carrying 3 to 6 leaves taht blooms in the fall through early winter on an erect, 6 to 16" [15 to 40 cm] long, provided with 5 to 7, with the margins usually recurved, stem leaves, 1 to 7 flowered inflorescence
