Found in Tasmania Australia in coastal forests under low shrubs abd bracken at elevations of 5 to 250 meters aas a mini-miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a short rosette stalk with 4 to 6 leaves that blooms in the late fall and winter on an erect, 4 to 12" [10 to 30 cm] long, provided with 5 to 6 stem leaves, 1 to 9 flowered inflorescence
