Common Name The Acute-Leafed Pterygodium

Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]

Found in southwestern and southern Cape Province of South Africa in swamps and in rock flushes at elevations of 50 to 1300 meters as a slender, medium to large sized, cold growing terrestrial with oblong to linear, acute leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, terminal, to 10" [to 25 cm] long, fairly lax, 1 to 6 flowered inflorescence.
