Common Name The Winged Pterygodium

Flower Size 3/4" [1.8 cm]

Found in southwestern and southern Cape Province of South Africa in short scrub at elevations of 30 to 900 meter as a slender, small sized, cold growing terrestrial with numerous, elliptic leaves that blooms in the late winter and spring on an erect, terminal, fairly dense, 4" [10 cm] long, 2 to many flowered inflorescence
