Common Name The Broad Petaled Pterygodium

Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]

Found in southwestern Cape Province, South Africa in grasslands and on montane slopes at elevations of 540 to 1500 meters as a smalol sized, cold growing terrestrial with 2 narrowly elliptic, acuminate to subapiculate leaves that blooms in the winter often after fires, on an erect, terminal, lax, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence with ovate, acute floral bracts
