Common Name The Snail-Like Pterygodium

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found in southwestern and southern Cape Province, South Africa in sandy soils at elevations of sea-level to 900 meters as a slender, medium sized, cool to cold growing terretrial with 2 ovate-oblong leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, terminal, lax to dense, many flowered inflorescence and carrying unpleasantly scented flowers
