Common Name The Gold Gift Spathoglottis

Flower Size 1.8" [4.5 cm]

Found in Irian Jaya of western New Guinea without locality as a hot to cool growing terrestrial with ovate pseudobulbs held above ground level, sometimes with 4 to 5 flattened sides and carrying 3 to 5, plicate, deciduous, persistent leaf stalk, elliptic leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, basal, tomentose, to 12" [30 cm] long, 8 to 12 flowered inflorescence with yellow and green floral bracts.
