Common Name or Meaning Eaton's Spiranthes - Eaton's Lady Tresses
Flower Size .18 to .2" [4 to 5 mm]
Found in Texas, Louisiana, Misissippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with 3 to 6, basal, oblanceolate-lanceolate leaves that wither quickly with blooming which occurs in the early spring on till may an erect, single ranked, spiralling to secund, 10 to 35 flowered inflorescence carrying fragrant flowers
