Common Name The Estepona Stanhopea [Dedicated to the Orchidarium Estepona, Malaga Spain for the work to conserve Orchids]

Flower Size 4.4" [11 cm]

Found in Guatemala in low montane,cloud forests at elevations around 1800 to 1900 meters as a medium sized, cool growing, densely caespitose epiphyte with pyriform, sulcate pseudobulbs carrying elliptic, acute, 4 nerved, plicate, acute, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on a pendent, to 7 flowered inflorescence.
