Common Name The Mimicing Staurochilus

Flower Size .72” [1.8cm]

Found on Mindanao in the Philippines with in Agusan Province as a hot to warm growing epiphyte with an erect, monopodial stem carrying alternate, distichous, strap-shapped, conduplicate, obliqwuely bilobed apically leaves that blooms on 1 to 2 axillary, erect, long pedunculate, branching, each branch few flowered, to [58 cm] long, dark reddish brown, several to many flowered inflorescence.

Similar to S luchensis and S ionosma but differs from them both the smaller flowers and the mid liobe of the lip is completely different, narrowly ovate-pandurate.
