Common Name Brade's Stelis [Polish/German Collector in Costa Rica 1800's]

Found in Cartago province of Costa Rica as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing, caespitose epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 sheaths and carrying a single, apical, coriaceous, oblanceolate-ligulate, attenuate below into the petioalte base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, arising through a spathe, peduncle 1.2" [3 cm] long, rachis 2.8" [7 cm] long, secund, densely many flowered inflorescence with cucullate-reniform, apiculate shorter thna the ovary floral bracts.
