Common Name The Rugose Stelis [refers to the rugose petals and stigmatic arms of the flowers]

Flower Size .07" [1.9 mm]

Found in Valle de Cauca department of Colombia at elevations around 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing, caespitose epiphyte with very short ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 short, tubular sheaths and a larger one above that covers the rest of the ramicaul and carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic-obovate, obtuse, tridenticulate, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a racemose, peduncle enveloped by a cauline bract, .32 to .52" [.8 to 1.3 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence with distichous, cucullate-acute, shprter than the ovary floral bracts.
