Common Name or Meaning The Spider Like Taeniophyllum

Flower Size .2" [5 mm] high

Found in Papua New Guinea in lowland forest at elevations around 40 meters as a small to just medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with a very short leafless stem giving rise to numerous, linear, to 6.8 to 14.6" [17 to 37 cm] long roots that blooms in the fall on an erect, glabrous, peduncle filiform, 3.2 to 4" [8 to 10 cm] long, peduncle-scales minute, tubular, distant, rachis strongly flexuose, to .8" [2 cm] long, long lasting, successively single, many flowered inflorescence with in patent, two alternating rows, clasping the rachis, small, triangular with the greatest width at the base, acute, strongly concave floral bracts and carrying light yellow colored flowers.
