Common Name or Meaning The Crenate Taeniophyllum

Found in Papua New Guinea in lowland forest as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with a very short leafless stem giving rise to numerous, elongated, narrowly linear, to 7.8" [18 cm], glabrous above roots that blooms in the winter on several, erect, glabrous, peduncle elongated, filiform, 1 to 1.2" [2.5 to 3 cm] long, in the basal part often with two minute scales; rachis, successively single, to 50 flowered with comb-like, n two alternating rows, patent, clasping the rachis, triangular, acute, concave, floral bracts.
