Common Name Sara's Telipogon [ Sara Gutierrez Ecuadorian nurserywoman current]

Flower Size 1.2 to 1.8" [3 to 4.5 cm]

Found in Pichincha and Imbabura departments of Ecuador in cloud forests at elevations of 2000 to 3500 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with an erect stem enve3loped by leaf sheath bases carrying basal leaves and carrying oblanceolate, acuminate, entire margin leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on an erect to recurved, winged, peduncle .8" [2 cm] long, 3.2" [8 cm] long over all, successively 1 to 2, to 4 flowered inflorescence with an ovate-triangular, acuminate, dorsally carinate shorter than the ovary floral bract.
