Found in Ecuador as a cold growing epiphyte.

CAUTION The photos by Karl Senghas above were listed as T alticola on the Swiss Orchid Foundation - not, but they match almost exactly the photo presented by Dodson in his Native Ecuadorian series Vol 5 2006 as Telipogon frymirei #2363 pg 1016, the problem here is the type drawing of Telipogon frymirei also by Dodson published 10 years earlier and the photo in the same work, Native Ecuadorian Orchids but Vol 3 pg 436 in 2003 which have no affinity to the photos presented above so I have put this species here as indeterminate.
