Found in Cundinamarca department of Colombia near La Calera in cloud forests at elevations around 3400 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with an abbreviated stem carrying a few leaves that blooms in the fall on an axillary, provided with a smallacute bract near the base triquetrous, single flowered inflorescence.
