Common Name The Eneishan Tropidia - In China E Mei Zhu Jing Lan

Found in southwestern Sichuan in forests at elevations of 1100 to 1200 meters as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with a somewhat thickened rhizome giving rise to an erect, unbranched stem with the nodes enveloped by sheaths and carrying 2, alternate, well spaced, elliptic to ovate, papery, acuminate apically, subrounded below leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, to 2" [5 cm] long, to 13 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, much shorter tha the ovary floral bracts and carrying non-resupinate, small, green flowers
