Found in Sulawesi in open riverine forests on trees at elevations of 1100 to 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying 5 to 7 tough, 2 ranked, green leaves that blooms in the winter and again in the fall on 1 to 2, .32 to .5" [.8 to 1.2 cm] long, club-shaped, sporadically successively 2 to 5, to 18 flowered inflorescence
