Common Name Haviland's Vanilla [English Original collector of the type 1900's]

Found in Borneo in secondary forests, riverine and lowland dipterocarp forests at elevatons of 200 to 500 meters as a viney, hot growing terrestral

"A species somewhat similar to the Javanese V. albida, but with congested, many-flowered inflorescences bearing pendent flowers, apparently with flared tepals. The oblong-elliptic, long-acuminate leaves are rather thin in substance." Soto Arenas & Cribb 2010
