Common Name Mooney's Zeuxine

Found in Odisha India in evergreen forests on stream banks at elevations around 800 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, warm growing terrestrial with a creeping rhizome giving rise to an erect, dark green, fleshy, sheathed stem carrying scattered, 5 to 7, soft herbaceous, thin, ovate-lanceolate, deep green, , fading during flowering, densely papillose, with 3 dark green veins and reticulate veinlets on the upper face, pale green beneath, acuminate, narrowing below into the sheathing base leves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, erect, peduncle very slender, provided with retrose hairs, rachis to 1.8" [4.5 cm] long, 8 to 120 flowered inflorescence with narrowly lanceoalte, apiculate, floral bracts to 4" [10 cm] long,
