Found on Lan Fu [Orchid] Island of Taiwam and the Philippines in forestsw at elevations around 200 meters as a mini-miniature to just miniature sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with an elongate rhizome giving rise to an ascending, pale red brown erect stem carrying 2 to 4, adaxially green, mid rib white with dark green reticulateion, trianular-lanceolate, 5 veined, acuminate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect, peduncle 3.6" [9 cm] long, hairy, provided with 5 sterile bracts, rachis 3.2" [8 cm] to 13 flowered inflorescence with hairy, floral bracts
