Found in Ecuador without locational data as a warm to cool growing epiphyte with sharply winged, laterally compressed, sulcate, suberect to horizontal ramicauls enveloped by a tubular sheath above the base and another at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, thinly coriaceous, elliptical, acute, acuminate, the basal margins decurrent to 1.2" [3 cm] onto the ramicaul and blooms in the fall and winter on a single, to .8" [2 cm] long, simultaneously severa lflowered inflroescence arising on top of the leaf and arising through a basal spathe at the apex of the ramicaul.
This species would be better placed within Pleurothallis in my database but it has not been described as such as of yet.
