Common Name The Sandal-Like Bulbophyllum [refers to the lip]

Flower Size 1/4" [.6 cm]

Found in Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo in lower montane forests around 1600 to 1800 meters as a small sized, cool to warm growing epiphyte with a rhizome enveloped by dry sheaths and 5/8" in between each grooved, conical pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, linear, acute leaf that blooms with up to 6, basal, 1 3/5" [4 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence The flowers are similar to and as large as Bulbophyllum ischnopus Schltr.
