This miniature, warm to cool growing epiphytic species is found in Vietnam and Taiwan on tree trunks in forests at elevations around 500 to 3000 meters with small, grooved, ovate psuedobulbs carrying a single, apical leaf that blooms on a basal, 2 3/8" [6 cm] long, slender inflorescence that has an apical umbel of several [4 to 10] flowers. This species needs warm to cool temperaures, a fast draining medium, partial shade, good air movement and ample moisture to grow well.
