Common Name The Insulsum-Like Bulbophyllum [refers to being similar to the species B insulsum which is now considered a synonym of B levinei] - In China Sui Hua Juan Ban Lan
Flower Size .1 to .12" [5 to 6 mm]
Found in central and southern Taiwan in forests on tree trunks at elevations of 1000 to 2000 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with close set, conic-ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, narrowly oblong, leathery, subacute, contracted below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer and early fall on a basal, to 4.8" [12 cm] long, slender, sparsely 10 flowered inflorescence with 2 to 4 sheathlike bracts and lanceolate floral bracts.
