Found in Madagascar in forests at elevations of 900 to 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with conical, close set, brownish, 4 obtusely angled pseudobulbs carrying 2, narrow-oblanceolate, attenuate-petiolate nearly to the apex from the base leaves that blooms on a very thin, slightly longer than the leaves, to 3.2" [8 cm] long, erect then curved at the flowers, lax, 5 to 10 flowered inflorescence with 3 to 4, slightly visible sheaths and carrying glabrous flowers.
