Common Name The Enchanting Bulbophyllum

Flower Size 1 1/4" [3 cm]

This species was a member of section Cirrhopetalum in Bulbophyllum(though hardly a typical one), for that reason it has been separated to this newly formed genus. and grows at around 1000-1500 metres in Sumatra, Java, Bali and Malaysia . The shortly ovoid,acutely quadrangular, shiney olive green pseudobulbs are about 3/4" to 1.2" [1.7 to 3 cm] apart and carry a single, oval to oblong, abruptly narrowing below into the very short petiolate base leaf and blooms in the summer on a basal, 5/8" to 1.1" [1.5 to 2.6 cm] long inflorescence that always have 2-flowers, the lateral sepals 3-5 cm long. The fragrant flower is held below the pseudobulb and leaf.
