Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]

Found in Sabah, Brunei and Sarawak Borneo in hill and lower montane forests at elevations of 600 to 700 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm growing epiphyte with 2" [5 cm] between each ovoid pseudobulb, not flattened pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, thick, ovate to elliptic, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms arising from the rhizome, erect, 3" [7.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence

Similar to B macranthum but differs in the finer spotting, the coloration of the sepals, the triangular stellida on the column and the thicker lip [see side photo]
