Common Name The Rough Bulbophyllum [refers to the surface of the sepals and petals]
Flower Size .8" [2 cm]
Found in Assam India, Bangladesh, eastern Himalayas, Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim and Thailand as a miniature sized, cool to warm growing epiphyte at elevations around 1300 to 2000 meters with crowded small, conical pseudobulbs [sulcate with age] carrying a single apical 6" [15 cm] long leaf and blooms in the spring on a basal, erect, 2 3/4" [7 cm] long inflorescence with an umbell of 3 to 6 flowers and needs to have protection from direct sunlight.
