Found in Sarawak and Sabah Borneo in podosol forests at elevations of 50 to 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with [1.8 to 9 cm] between each ellipsoid to ovoid, distinctly and obtusely 4 angled pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, ovate to round, rounded apically, abruptly contracted below in to the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a patent, subumbellate, 3.2 to 5.6" [8 to 14 cm] long, 4 to 9 flowered inflorescence
