Found in Bhutan, Assam, India, Burma, Thailand and Vietnam around elevations of 410 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with minute, cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, stiff, elliptic to broadly elliptic, petiolate leaf that blooms in the spring and summer with a basal, from the rhizome, erect, 2" [5 cm] long inflorescence with 2 basal acuminate bracts and another towards the middle and carrying an apical cluster of a few flowers
