Found in southeastern Yunnan state of China in forests at elevations around 1100 meters as a small to medium sized, warm growing terrestrial with ovoid-conic pseudobulbs carrying 4, well developed and speading at blooming, not deciduous, elliptic, densely pubescent, acute apically, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on an, erect, terminal, densely puberulent, 13.6" [34 cm] long, laxy 10 flowered inflorescence with persistent, green, ovate-lanceolate, abaxially densely puberulent floral bracts
