Common Name

Flower Size

A natural hybrid between C pileatum and C macrocarpum occuring in Venezuela and Brazil at elevations of 125 to 150 meters as a large sized, hot growing epiphyte with fusiform, conical to narrowly ovoid pseudobulbs enveloepd in youth by imbricate leaf-bearing sheaths carrying 4 to 7, oblanceolate to obovate, acute to shortly acuminate leaves that are articulate to the leaf sheath and boooms on an erect to pendant, laxly to densely few flowered inflorescence arisng on a newly matured pseudobulb.
