Found in southern Brazil and Corrientes state of Argentina as a small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial orchid with several, ellipitc, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, 10" [25 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with tubular, acute bracts and longer than the ovary floral bracts..
