Common Name or Meaning The Little Flat Hollow Dendrobium

Found in Borneo, Malaysia and Sumatra in low rather swampy, coastal and mixed hill forests at elevations around sea-level to 800 meters meters as a small to just large sized, hot pendant growing epiphyte or erect terrestrial with a stem from 8 to 24" [20 to 60 cm] long stem with leaves in the upper half and carrying lanceolate, gradually getting smaller towards the apex leaves that blooms on 1 to a few, 1 3/4" [4.5 cm], to 12 flowered, pendant, racemose inflorescence arising from high on the stem and carrying flowers that smell strongly of the grass Anthoxanthum odoratum.
