Found in the Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo in lowlands and lower montane mossy forests at elevations of 500 to 1600 meters as a miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with simple to branching, pendulous, leafy stems carrying many, lanceolate, flat, fleshy, densely overlapping, alternate leaves that blooms on a short, single to few flowered inflorescence
