FragrancePart shade Hot Spring

Common Name The White Lipped Gongora

Flower Size [1.75 cm x 4 cm]

Found in Southern Mexico to Panama in tropical rainforests at elevations of sealevel to 1600 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with narrowly ovoid, coarsely and deeply ribbed pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, plicate leaves and blooms in the spring on a pendent inflorescence with fragrant flowers. Often cited as a syn of G quinquenervis, I feel that it sufficiently different to be a separate entity.
