Common Name Sir Joseph Dalton Hooker's Habenaria [English Botanist 1800's]

This is a small to medium sized, cool to warm growing terrestrial orchid found in Mantiqueira Rain Forest Mountains on dryer forests floor at elevations of 800 to 1500 meters with a succulent, erect stem carrying alternate, deep green, suffused with silver, lanceolate, keeled leaves that gradually decrease in size towards the apex leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on a terminal, cone-like, erect, to 20 flowered inflorescence.
