Common Name The Thin Leafed Octomeria

Found in Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Guyana, Fr Guyana, Surinam and northern Brazil at elevations of 50 to 1100 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphytye with very long, terete ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3, dry, scarious sheaths and carrying a single, apical, short, terete, acute leaf with no differentiation from the stem and the channeled, leaf that blooms in the winter and spring on a very short, fasiculate, successively single flowered inflorescence arising on a mature stem through a small spathe at the base of the channeled leaf.
The first photo seems to be most correct, the last four are least correct.
