Found in India, Sri Lankha the eastern Himalayas, Assam, Bangladesh, Myanamar, Thailand, Vietnam, Yunnan China and possibly Sumatra in dense forests along ravines at elevations of 900 to 1300 meters as a warm growing terrestrial and blooms in the spring on an erect, several flowered inflorescence
